Joanna Kyle death sudden
Joanna Kyle, of Washington, Iowa, died on June 2, 1932, as a result of shock following an operation for appendicitis. Miss Kyle has been critic in teaching of social science at Teachers College Training School for the past six years.
She was a graduate of Iowa University where she received the M. A. degree and served as an assistant in the Department of Social Science. She had worked toward a graduate degree at Columbia University, in New York City. She had had extensive teaching experience in Iowa, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Miss Kyle was affiliated with the State Historical Society of Iowa and with the local chapter of Pi Gamma Mu, national social science honorary fraternity.
