CEDAR FALLS - Jeanette A. Antrim, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 3, at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls. She was born Nov. 12, 1925, in Grundy County, daughter of Willie and Mable North Kroemer. She married Ernest Antrim on Dec. 27, 1945, in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death Sept. 4, 1983. Jeanette graduated from Northern University High School and was a librarian at the University of Northern Iowa for 21 years, retiring in 1988.
Survived by: a daughter, Marlene Shea of Cedar Falls; a grandson, Scott (Danielle) Shea of Cedar Falls; a stepgrandson, Scott (Cori) McCumsey of Grand Rapids, Minn.; two great-grandchildren, Jaylin Shea and Thomas Shea; three step great-grandchildren, Josiah McCumsey, Ella McCumsey and Emily McCumsey; and a brother, Marvin (Fran) Kroemer of Casa Grande, Ariz. Preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Rodney (Norma) Kroemer.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 7, at First Presbyterian Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in rural Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
