Dr. Jack F. Kimball, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, January 21, 2002, at Western Home Communities Martin Center of natural causes. He was born May 9, 1918, in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Richard E. and Virginia Ferguson Kimball. He married Jean R. Seacat on April 21, 1942, in Kansas City.
Mr. Kimball received his bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in 1941; his master's degree from Syracuse University, New York, in 1949; and his doctor of education degree from Columbia University, New York. He was dean of students at State University College, Oneonta, New York, and from 1967 until retirement in 1988 was a professor at the University of Northern Iowa.
Survived by: his wife; and a son, William M. of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: a brother, Richard F.
Memorial services: 2 p.m. Friday at First Congregational Church, Waterloo, with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls, at a later date. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, temporarily located at 204 W. Seerley Boulevard.
