Etta Seehusen, 50, a custodian in Bartlett Hall, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday evening in Marshalltown Area Community Hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident that occurred 25 minutes earlier on Highway 14, north of Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, at 1:30 p. m. at the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church, 2 1/2 miles northwest of Holland, Iowa. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center. A general memorial fund has been established. Etta was born on July 5, 1934, in Grundy County, the daughter of Rieke and Etta Miller Seehusen. Etta is survived by three brothers; George Seehusen of Stewartville, Minnesota, Koret Seehusen of Holland, Iowa, and Jake Seehusen of Chatfield, Minnesota; and two sisters, Grace Ennenga and Reka Flater, both of Holland, Iowa.
