Otten, Esther L.

Esther L. Otten, 85, of the Windsor Care Center, died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at the care center, of natural causes. She was born September 29, 1912, in Crystal Lake, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Mary Wagner. She married Jack Otten September 16, 1940. They were later divorced. She was an office technician and was employed for many years by the University of Northern Iowa Russell Hall music department and the Waterloo Public Library, retiring in 1986. Survived by: a son, John Otten of Cedar Falls; a granddaughter; a sister, Christine Wagner of Crystal Lake; and a brother, Charles of San Antonio. Preceded in death by: her ex-husband.
