Colleen Storbeck, 73, of Auburn, Alabama, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Monday, May 17, 2004, at Bethany House, Auburn. She was born September 2, 1930. She married Marvin Storbeck. Mrs. Storbeck was a 1948 graduate of Aplington High School. She worked in administration for the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, office of the vice president. She also played piano for children's Sunday School for twenty years at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. Survivors include: her husband; a daughter, Rhonda Adams of Auburn; a son, Jim (Alicia) of Auburn; two grandchildren; two sisters, Viola Brocka of Cedar Falls and Ann Oldenberger of Aplington; and a brother, Lester Mennen of Parkersburg. Preceded in death by: two brothers, Jesse and Roy Mennen. Services: noon today at Fredericks Funeral Home, Opelika, Alabama. The family may be contacted at 1330 Sanders Street, Auburn, Alabama 36830.
