Calvin J. Jondle, 75, of Waterloo, died at home Saturday, November 3, 2007, of natural causes. He was born December 7, 1931, in Stout, son of Wesley and Bessie Ohlmstead Jondle. He married Diane Verly on March 18, 1961, in Waterloo. Mr. Jondle was a social worker for EPI for twenty-two years, retiring in 1993. He was state chairman of the United Cerebral Palsy Association for many years. Survivors include: his wife; two daughters, Dawn (Joe) Deeds of Waterloo and Deb (Jeremy) Morgan of Greene; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: two sisters, Phyllis and Betty. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church. Memorials: may be directed to the family.
