Paul Julion, Jr., 73, of Waterloo, died at home Saturday, March 8, 2008, of natural causes. He was born December 10, 1934, in Jonestown, Mississippi, son of Paul Julion, Sr., and Willie Mae Kelly. He married Lucille Brown in September 1954 in Chicago. Mr. Julion was formerly employed at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in the Power Plant department from 1972 to 1999, when he retired.
Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Dora Julion of Chicago and Valerie Julion of Toledo, Ohio; two sons, Charles (Charlotte) and Ivy (Jean), both of Waterloo; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bernice Brown of Jonestown. Preceded in death by: a brother, Jimmie; and four sisters, Dorothy, Susie, Ola Mae, and Eliza.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 55 Newell Street, Waterloo. Public visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Sanders Funeral Service, followed by cremation. Memorials: may be directed to the family at 2035 Burton Avenue.
