Scope and Content
In October, 1973, William L. Cramer (b. 1955), a UNI student, wrote to Iowa Senators Dick Clark and Harold Hughes as well as to Representatives John Culver and H.R. Gross about President Richard Nixon and the Watergate scandal.
This collection consists of the four letters that Cramer received in response. The Clark and Gross signatures appear to be genuine. All four letters state that the scandal is a matter of great concern, that the impeachment of the President is a serious undertaking, and that they are awaiting further developments in the matter.
