Scope and Content

This series seems to be a combination of material accumulated by the Registrar and several chairs of the University
Faculty Senate.

These files often contain correspondence, committee reports, and other documents associated with particular docket and calendar items.  If a researcher wishes to go beyond Senate minutes or announcements to gain a better understanding of an issue under consideration, this series might prove useful.

Portions of the files seem to have been created by chairs of the Faculty Senate, such as Professors Myra Boots and John Longnecker.  But other portions seem to have been from a time when the Registrar, or a member of the Registrar's staff, served as secretary to the Faculty Senate.  The contents and order of each annual file vary.
